Dye-lot
A single batch of yarn dyed together; individual lots may show subtle shade variation vs each other.
Dye-lot traceability is a QC requirement for large or replenishment orders. Shade cards and pom approvals are used to lock dye-lot targets before production. See [[pom]], [[abrash]].
