Knot density / knot count
Knots per square inch (KPSI) on a [[hand-knotted]] rug; higher = finer, more detailed, more valuable.
Standard grades: 60 KPSI (production), 80–100 KPSI (fine), 150+ KPSI (very fine), 200+ KPSI (master-grade Persian/silk). Knot count is the single strongest lever on hand-knotted price. See [[hand-knotted]], [[persian-knot]], [[turkish-knot]].
